Cleopatra

The colours and the glowing snake really drew my eye to this piece - It was such a unique place to set the viewer's focus! It gives a dark mystical aura. However, at the moment she still looks a bit incomplete to me - maybe its the texture of the painting that looks a bit rough and soft in some places. I think if you blended over some areas and generally made it smoother and sharper it would be better. I also think you pupil needs a bit more detail - I'm pretty certain she's looking ahead but I can't be certain. I also think this piece would benefit from some more intense shadows. I hope this helps!
