Edit [2/13/2013]: Revising this yet again because like with the older version I can't look at the mistakes anymore, so expect an overworked version sometime this year (:
So, I finally got to redo my 1-year-old "The Universe is a Jellyfish" painting. I had it finished for some time, but I wasn't satisfied enough to post it here. Then the draw-this-again-contest motivated me to redo it again. I worked 10 hours straight, thought I finished it, went to sleep, looked at it again and saw that it really wasn't finished and worked some more on it. I guess it took me 12 hours in total. I'm not entirely satisfied, but this new version is waaay better than the other new version. I still like the old version though

By the way, I dabbled a little bit in fractal art for this^^
Anyway, I hope you like it!
Still the most important question: What if the universe was a jellyfish?

I didn't use any stock pictures/brushes/etc. I made the star brushes, the fractals for the galaxy-thing and everything else myself.
Last but not least: That's my artwork. If I catch you stealing it I'll get very,
very angry.
Old version:
