1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

A little over 4 years.

1. What does your username mean?

It doesn't really have a meaning. I just like the Japanese name "Rie", and wanted to put my own spin on it, and after a little experimenting I ended up with "Riemea".

1. Describe yourself in three words.

Tall. Sarcastic. Artist.

1. Are you left or right handed?

Right handed.

1. What was your first deviation?

A really bad photograph I already deleted.

1. What is your favourite type of art to create?

If you've ever taken a look at my gallery, you'll know I like a lot of different types of art. It kind of depends on my mood, to be honest. Sometimes I am super into digital art, and at others I just need the feel of a brush in my hand and paint everywhere, or feel my way around a piece of jewellery I'm working on.

1. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Material arts.

Seriously, it would be cool if I'd suddenly be this super awesome writer, or traditional artist, but if I really think about it, I don't want to instantly master any art style. I think the important part is the journey - where would the fun be if you'd just have the skill, without going through all the hard work, experimenting, and joy at seeing the progress you're making?

1. What was your first favourite?

I was (and still am) so amazed by janaschi's skill!

1. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

I think digital paintings and drawings (a loooot of portraits), but traditional art is a close second.

1. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

I don't think I have one all-time favourite. Artists whose works have been a huge inspiration are for example alicexz, Valentina-Remenar, agnes-cecile, puimun, yuumei, MartaNael, shilin, vtas, chromeantennae, and cality. Amongst others.      

1. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

I have met quite a few people on deviantArt I would love to meet in person, but my top three are definitely cality, astarayel, and TeaPhotography.   

1. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Veridene was the first friend I made here, and it was because of them that I continued to write poetry. cality, astarayel, and TeaPhotography are wonderful, wonderful friends, and I'm so glad I met them through deviantArt. I really don't want to miss them from my life. It's so strange to think that I never would have met them and all the other crazy awesome people (I hope you all know who you are), if I hadn't decided to join this site four years ago. 

1. What are your preferred tools to create art?

My wacom bamboo fun (although it broke a while ago ), Photoshop Elements (although I'd rather use Photoshop CS5 if I had the money to buy it), pencils, fountain pen, watercolours, sheet silver, and various silversmithing tools. And from time to time, my Canon EOS 600D.

1. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Depends. Sometimes I am most inspired when I know noone is going to bother me for hours: being alone in my room listening to music. Other times I love to be in places where I can people-watch: sitting in a café on a sunny day with my sketchbook and a coffee.

1. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Receiving seniority. It still feels like a dream, only that apparently it's not.
