How lovely you are

This is my entry for =rainylake's Musically Inspired Contest.

This artwork is inspired by "The Scientist" by Coldplay. I'm so in love with that song.

When I'm inspired by music it's either that a song is so beautiful/moving/etc. that I need to draw something right that instant, or (not that often with me) I get a certain picture in my head and need to draw that. With this song it was the latter - warm colours, a warm atmosphere, a beautiful girl in a summer breeze~
The song itself also kind of motivated me to experiment with a lot of different textured brushes, and it was so much fun trying stuff out! I think I'm going to experiment more in the future.
And yeah, I'm aware that the lyrics are kind of depressing, but somehow the music itself made me see this warm, happy picture in my mind nevertheless.
